Finally someone else with a correct opinion on it. It's just another bland, special effects driven blockbuster. Boring plot concept. Characters that everyone has already forgotten.

But it was a little dark and wasn't a cutesy George Lucas film so I suppose the nerds think it's great on those merits alone.
