They just ticked off the man responsible for the HUNTSMAN Center (2.2 billion?) and likely just lost hundreds of millions of future dollars of donations. The person fired has a groundswell of support from the staff at the Huntsman Center. Some have said is the best in the country at doing the job. What was the reason given for firing her? Ya, basically nothing. This sound like a political move. Anyone who thinks this administrator was not doing a good job should go the HUNTSMAN center, spend some time and find/describe the flaws there. The UofU should be kissing his butt right now and firing people, then ask what else they can do to make it right. Where would the UofU medical program and research be if Huntsman had not come along.
