I read an article a few days ago that quoted a coach saying something along the lines of how he'd had players that had gotten really good scores on the test but turned out to be awful football players. On the other hand, he'd had other players who got terrible scores on the test but when they lined up on the field they could read a defense or offense perfectly and call out adjustments to their team mates on every play. Book smarts don't necessarily mean football smarts and vice versa.
