Sounds like the only thing you dislike is that he's not a guy to mold as the next HC. Meh. Meh. Meh. They can hire out when the time comes. They don't have to bring someone in who can take over in a short time. That's probably not a very easy thing to do right now. Not sure if anyone out there who could meet the qualifications is good enough.

So you don't like him because he's not the next HC. But I don't think you really believe he wouldn't be good as an assistant. Assistants don't change programs. If you want that, get rid of Rose and his style of ball, emphasis, and his recruiting. And speaking of that, this guy has been said to be a good recruiter. Probably more recruiting experience and connections than anyone else BYU would get. Isn't it about time for another coach who has actually been around the block instead of some GA promotion or a guy who hasn't been coaching college ball?

I'm not even saying he's the guy. I hope they take a good look around. But I would not call it a bad thing if they're not out finding the successor to Dave Rose.
