Between sitting at baseball games and track meets, I'm never colder than these spring months. Part of it is because I expect to be warmer, and so I underdress for 45-50 weather with wind and rain. I've finally decided that I always wear layers, including my winter coat, hat and gloves. I always take a thick blanket to track meets as well.
