Yeah. Not fun. That was in 2009, and I am very happy to report that I've
recovered better than I ever could've imagined, but discovering that your life savings is never coming back was a pretty crappy feeling.
Lesson? You couldn't force me to employ a realtor again under threat of violence. I've bought and sold two homes by myself since then, and I still can't see what value they offer.
