The problem with Westbrook's season is, that, yes,
he was spectacular, but who else on the Thunder had a good season?
It's just not possible to get any kind of rhythm going offensively when you don't ever get the ball.
The narrative that they don't have any talent is not true.
Westbrook was even worse in the playoffs. He took so many contested 3s in the 4th quarters of those games when he was so exhausted. Meanwhile, he had BETTER shooters that were wide open, calling for the ball along the 3 point line and he refused to pass it to them (McDermott).
It's not how basketball is supposed to be played. And that's why the Thunder lost in 5 games.
