Camp Invite is, in a way, the 3rd tier for nfl hopefuls. Everyone not drafted can sign as FA with any team interested. If none are interested in signing you ur last chance is a mini camp invite.

Basically a 3 day tryout without pads and before veterans even get there. No contract, no guaranteed $ or signing bonus. I think they pay a couple hundred bucks per day for these invites & in the rare chance u catch their eye they might sign u to a Free Agent contract for the camp and go from there. Too bad for Eide because its all but impossible for the big uglies to stand out in the 3 days.
