BYU and Army could likely bring the Las Vegas Bowl periodically to the AAC lineup and perhaps help the AAC to upgrade to the Liberty or Sun Bowl. BYU and Army get annual access to the Armed Forces and Military bowls. This would be a moderate upgrade for BYU, Army, and the AAC bowl lineups...and give BYU and Army some variability to the bowl options - so, after we lose one game, we don't feel the let down of an early-season Poinsettia Bowl announcement. Rather, BYU would still have a chance to *play for* a bid to the Las Vegas or Liberty or Armed Forces bowls, not to mention NY6, with perhaps the Hawaii and Frisco bowls as likely fall-back options.
