Of course
He's tall and white. Ha ha.

No offense to Mika, but as a Jazz fan I hope they pass as a draft pick. If we can get him in as a free agent and D league project that's fine.

In the NBA Mika's undersized and currently doesn't have close to an outside shot to be the stretch 4 needed for an nba4. We've already got a stretch4 project in Lyles who's got more skill, even if he struggled mightily last year. I don't think Mika is better or can be better than Lyles. I think Mika projects as a marginal NBA prospect and role player.

I liked what JT said about Mika's decision. Since he's projected to be drafted in the later 2nd round at best, there was really no rush to leave college. That was always going to be available to him this year or next year, and he might have actually improved his stock by returning and proving that he can shoot from outside. Byu gives guys who shoot the green light. He didn't get too many chances this past year because he hadnt proven to be a 3 point shooter in practice. Too much was made out of byu running so much to the post for him. They certainly could have run more pick and role to develop more of his skills this next year if he started hitting 3s in practice. The mid range shot was available to him this past year and he starting taking more of those as the year went on.

His decision to leave has nothing to do with draft status getting worse with age next year since he's a marginal 2nd rounder at best. He's giving up the college experience for professional development which he thinks will make him a better basketball player. Good luck to him.
