Your reasoning is very logical but I've been pretty confident that we should
beat the utes many times only to see us shoot ourselves in the foot repeatedly and barely lose the game. Your reasoning is sound but ... we need a win over the utes more IMO. Gotta stem the tide and turn this rivalry around. It means more than just a win/loss.
A loss to a highly ranked LSU team would not kill our chances of being ranked but a loss to a ute team that could finish 6-6 or 5-7 (according to Vegas and ESPN) would certainly kill our chances IMO.
