What don't you understand? It is a point against Jordan just like Jordan has
points for him. Everyone points out stats or events that support one or the other. Since all of them are relevant, each individual assigns their own personal value on them and they reach a conclusion on who is great. Since there is no objective way to qualify everything it is all just personal opinion based on your own personal criteria.
It is not confusing at all.
What is confusing is that people who seem to suggest they know with a surety how they other would perform in a different time period or if they didn't retire.
