And it didn't matter whether 25 or 35 years old the guy scored with that shot without requiring great or even good hops, athletic quickness, or strength. 74% foul shooting for a 7'2 big man is also very strong, didnt have to worry about him getting fouled and clunking 2 FT.
Getting that for 20 years would be tough to turn down.
He shot better from the FT than Shaq, a LOT. He averaged a full assist more per game. He averaged more rebounds per game. I think Kareems game transcended many eras of hoops, and dont think Shaq would have been as dominant if he played in a finesse era versus the era he did that allowed a lot more physical play IMO.
