I could never understanding completely how you have perservered through this so
well.

I had the opportunity to speak in Sacrament meeting this past Sunday on how our trials can make us more faithful. Essentially how the refiner's fire creates beautiful and more perfected Saints.

I used a verse in Alma 62:41 to show how a trial (the length of the Nephite/Lamanite war) caused some to become more humble and others to become more hardened. It was about choice and where people turned during their difficult times.

I couldn't get you and your family out of my head. We've never met, but I feel (in a sense) that we know each other. The GC talk by Elder Holland struck me very hard and although I have never experienced anything similar to you and your family I always reflect on it.

I admire you for your strength and example to others. I hope that nothing like will happen to ANYONE, but I also hope if it does they can look to your example for hope.
