While the games were close, it is hard to overlook the number of draft pics from Utah v. BYU. I admit that draft pics are not a perfect indicator, but they are probably the best indicator of talent. I think a lot of our top talent was very close or better at many of the skill positions, but our depth just wasn't there, especially on the lines. When your depth is not there on the lines, I believe that oftentimes manifests itself in late game losses. Hence, the many last minute losses.
