But those annoying posters maybe are only annoying in hot topic categories. But they might have insight in other categories. Like a book recommendation. Or travel plans. Or credit cards. Or high school football. Or just some funny or spiritual anecdote that day.

Those that create new accounts just to troll for a day or two never last. So I can't ever see myself ignoring someone. I have 4 people that ignore me, probably because of my early years filling the MLB category with Dodger talk. But in those years, because they couldn't just scroll past my posts, they've missed every other post i've had that might have been funny. Or poignant. Or insightful BYU talk. Or breaking news. etc.

It just seems weird to me. But whatever works for you and them I guess.
