It's just the stupidest unfunny thing ever,...

that's why it's hard to make sense of it. I've asked this question several times in the past, thinking that there must be some funny anecdote that started it all. But alas, there is no substance to it. Its just stupid and makes everyone on cougarboard look stupid.
