I have a small air compressor. 6 gallon tank, 125 psi. When i was using it today, when the tank filled and the compressor cycled off, i could hear air venting. I found it coming from a crack where the handle is welded to the tank. I guess it's developed from the vibrations and pulling it around over the years. So i shut it off and emptied the tank.

I'm not a mechanical guy.....is this going to blow up if I use it? That's what I'm afraid of.
Can I have it fixed? Welded?
Is it even worth fixing? I can replace it with a brand new one for $100.
