A 65,000 stadium for a Utah college football team is pretty dang good. Anyone demanding expansion needs to have their head examined. It just won't ever happen.
But there is absolutely no reason at all to renovate in a serious way. West and East stands are the original bones of the old stadium... it's way past time to renovate both sides. TCU wasn't selling out, very far from it actually, and they renovated their stadium and made the experience in the stadium better by offering better view points in the stadium.
The wifi thing is great... but if your views of the field aren't that great to begin with... maybe you should start there. there isn't much BYU can do with the South and North endzones... they are what they are... but there is so much you can do with the East and West stands... and then a complete renovation of the press/suits area could turn that into a year long facility rather than a 4 months, 7 times used facility. It's a waste of potential.
