The combination of an aging metabolism and not great eating mixed with inconsistent physical activity had finally caught up to me. So I started getting my act together. In that 36 days I've lost 15 lbs. But the gut is still there. Maybe a little bit smaller.
Turns out I had accumulated fat in other parts of the body. Looking now, I can see a leaner face/neck, and more defined legs (a combo of losing fat and toning muscle of course)
So I'll just keep on going, until I lose it where I originally wanted. Hopefully this 15 does the trick. But the whole experience has made me more aware of my intake and output. Insane how much calories and carbs I was putting down before.
