Here in the Dallas area, tons of OU fans still bring up the 2009 win too.
They are generally not as bitter about it as UT fans and their blowout losses, but it goes to show those big games in front of a national audience definitely matter.

I don't want BYU to be viewed as "giant killer." I'd like to see BYU as the respected tough head to head
