The HR manager interviewed me first, and she smelled of alcohol (I am not kidding). She acted drunk too. Afterwards, she had me sit down with the CEO so he could "close" me. He never asked me a question, but rather talked the whole time about how he had built the company from the ground up on his own and was going to accomplish great things in the future. I was thoroughly unimpressed with their work space, the employees working there (I knew some of them from previous gigs, gigs those individuals had been forced out of), the interview process, the product, and most of all the fact that the head of HR was an alcoholic. The bro mentality of the CEO sealed the deal, and I was gone mentally 45 minutes into the interview process. I am not surprised that the company is struggling.
