Similar arguments could be made and were made about how Michigan St. was going
to crush us last year. "They are in the BIG 10." "We will never be able to hang with their strength in the trenches. This is BIG 10 football." "They are perennially great teams." "They were in the playoffs last year." "They can out-recruit us." "They can blah blah blah."

It was our easiest win against P5 teams. They had a bad year, it wasn't just us, but all of those statements were still true. They had out recruited BYU, they had been in the playoffs the year before. They do play typical BIG 10 style football with big guys in the trenches.

Do I think we walk all over LSU like we did Texas? No. Do I think we control the whole game like we did with MSU? No. Do I think our players with our coaches (vs. their players with their coaches) have a chance to have a decent game and come out with a win? Absolutely.

Your example of using the last ten years is flawed. We have a new coaching staff. While that doesn't mean that we will magically out work other teams, it may mean that our receivers are lifting better than they were over the last 10 years with Bronco's plan. I think in general the team is supposed to have bulked up more than they would have under Bronco. A wide receiver who runs technically sound routes, doesn't have to be faster and stronger than the DB covering him, he only needs to be fast and strong enough to not be inhibited to the point where it throws off his well timed routes.

Not saying we will win. Just saying Yunit and yourself are a bit too pessimistic. We got a shot.
