As long as they were in front of him. Running to the ball is something he did
very poorly all four years.
That the coaches took as long as they did to stop throwing him the fly route tells me either
(1) he had more ability in practice, but for whatever reason (concentration lapse, maybe) couldn't do it in the live game.
(2) coaches wanted to keep giving him a chance to do well what mother nature specifically designed him to do.
Either way, it was a mistake to give him that route for as long as they did. Whether it was Holliday or Anae mostly -- it was a mistake.
