Only if we move backwards into a poor conference (producing a very poor schedule
consistently) and even then it takes an excellent QB who starts all 4 years without major injuries or leaving for the draft. Pretty slim odds. I'd bet no.

Like this guy? He left after his Soph season.

better said, unless they are a projected 7th round pick like the guy they are

Sucks, too, because Graham Harrell is 762 yards ahead of him for FBS #4

There's no reason the NCAA can't retroactively put in bowl yardage to

Absolutely. Makes no sense

Well, Detmer was getting 12 games and a bowl too
Indy Coug

Yeah Hawaii and bowls, that wasn't my point
Twin Roots

Maybe they could retroactively give the WAC some real defenses too.

Miami and Penn State too since he passed for 980 yards on them in the space of 3 games

And UCLA (377) and Iowa (350) and Wazzu (985) and Oregon (912)

The NCAA didn't start including bowl stats until 2002

BYU would have to go back to being a skewed pass oriented offense
donnerstag
7/18/17 12:18pm
Technically no. It doesn't have to be skewed.

Sark played 15 games, and sacks shouldn't count as runs for this discussion

A QB that starts their freshman year and dominates will be NFL bound by

the NFL doesn't like guys who are short, small and they feel don't have good
smokymountainrain
7/18/17 12:27pm
And BYU isn't going to have a QB like that, maybe ever again.
Lip Gallagher

No. Guys would go pro early now.
Kerbouchard
7/18/17 1:16pm
No. If any QB were that good, they probably go pro before senior season.
