I feel joy and pain, relief, agony etc. from the works they produce, and therefore feel a somewhat intimate connection with artists and entertainers. I have songs that are deeply personal to me. Movies that bring back memories, or important thoughts that have directed my life. Robin Williams and Heath Ledger were those for me. I've had many conversations with friends about their work. They are actors that I've looked up to for a long time. When Steve Tyler, Joe Perry, Scott Stapp, or James Hetfield die, I'll probably feel something. Knowing that they've played their final song and written their final verse.
