Kalani stands for people & their dreams. That much is very evident. While I respect the huge personal investment that Bronco made when he took on each & every recruit, it seemed like he always set limits on himself as a mentor & an emotional support. Honestly, I think for most men that care as much about the kids under him as Bronco did--setting limits like that is integral to being a successful leader. So I absolutely respect his method, as frustratingly limited it often seemed to me--a FAR removed fan.
As for Kalani--I sense we got in him a guy who always has a reserve supply of energy & enthusiasm to lift people up at any given moment. That was a rare attribute of LaVell, too. (Rare to the degree they were able to offer it as HCs, anyways.)
I really hope we can hold onto this guy for a long, long time.
