You can do it a little different.
First you should read the actual logline from the film. They can be found on each film's IMDB page. 5 points right there if they can get it just from the logline.

Then if they can't get it by just the logline, you give them the silly synopsis similar to what you provided and those are 1 point each.

That way if some team gets farther behind they have an ability to quickly makeup ground with the 5 point questions.

Both loglines and actual synopses can be found on IMDB for each movie.

For example:

Logline: An NYPD officer tries to save his wife and several others that were taken hostage by a German terrorist during a Christmas party at an office building.

Silly Synopsis: NYPD cop goes on a Christmas vacation to visit his wife in Los Angeles where she works for a Corporation. They're not getting along. While they are at the Corporation headquarters for a Christmas party, a group of bank robbers led by a German terrorist take control of the building and hold everyone hostage, with the exception of the NYPD cop, who likes to wear white tanktops and walk around barefoot, while they plan to perform a lucrative heist. Unable to escape and with no immediate police response, the NYPD cop is forced to take matters into his own hands and and utters an iconic phrase. Yippee Ki Yay!!!
