This was my experience as well. I applied in November and had first interview

scheduled in May. I got in due to some extra openings on a Saturday in February. You don't have to go in on a scheduled time. You can go in on walk-in basis but there is no guarantee how long it will take. Based on the guys attitude when I was there, I don't think they like walk-ins.
