If he realizes the NFL is not a possibility and he will likely not be a starter
in his BYU career, and he got married and maybe has a child on the way (I don't know this, just putting forth a scenario), then maybe he decided that the daily grind wasn't worth it and he'd focus on finishing school and preparing to provide for his family for the next 4 decades.
