Why Does BYU Talk So Much About The COLOR of Player Uniforms For Games?
Stay with BYU traditional COLORS for games and forget wearing BLACK. It is a distraction
from the GAME and sends the wrong message about the TEAMS preparation and what is
important.
It is a FORM of GRAND STANDING and SHOWINESS to constantly be concerned about uniform COLORS
and takes away from the SPIRIT, the SKILL and SPORTSMANSHIP that is a more important part of
the game.
I don't remember ever wearing BLACK or PLACING any emphasis on UNIFORM changes for GAMES when
LAVELL was a COACH.
