My understanding is that the listed salaries of international players are
after-tax dollars. So he should net $1.8 million. Taxes should already be taken care of, as well as living expenses, I believe. It's a pretty sweet deal.

That's a sweet deal. Can't forget that the CBA regular season is only 38 games. Much less of a grind than the NBA.
