I currently work 6 on, 8 off and accrue PTO but rarely use it.
I have 2 months PTO built up now and max out around 400 hours iirc so at some point in just take a few months off. I don't make any money, but the 8 off every other week is an amazing benefit and allows me and my family to play like crazy.
