I'd settle for playing the 1st Qtr even. 2010 was the last time BYU led after the 1st and that was 3-0.
Since 2011, the Cougars have been outscored 59-9 in the 1st. Even taking out the Vegas bowl 1st quarter debacle, it's 24-9.
BYU has been playing behind most of the games in the series recently. The Cougs have outscored them 28-24 in the 2nd, but they have never led at halftime, just one tie (7-7 in 2012).
Of course, we have stunk after halftime as well, being outscored 36-13, which hasn't been enough to overcome our 41-34 4th quarter advantage.
So let's try not killing ourselves at the start of either half.
