However, I'm very happy with simplisafe and enjoy the ability to order individual components at a reasonable price without a middle man. I'm not sure of any real advantages to having non-plastic sensors, etc. The tech works fine despite cheap plastic housing. The monitoring plans are also month to month and they offer a few different tiers which is nice.
