Against BYU, right after talking about NFL preseason, which is 4 weeks. His phrasing was just weird. Sure it can be interpreted as disrespectful and used as bulletin board material, which if it motivates our guys, I hope our coaches use it.

But, based on his reputation and the context of the quote, I'm 90% sure he wasn't referring to BYU as an easy preseason scrimmage.

English grammar rules aren't the best way of interpreting what someone is saying. They are rules for structure and if we really want to get technical it is usage not grammar that determines the meaning of words. And yes he could have had better word usage but, that doesn't mean he was being disrespectful.
