I assume you understand the words that you write and that you're not oblivious to your own choice of words. So when you said "BYU sports program", I compared the two sports programs, not football teams, using the only objective source of which I'm aware that compares college sports programs... the Directors Cup. Seems sensible to me.

BYU is the better sports program. Utah is the better football team... for now.
