Obviously he and his family are still going through the angry phase. He just lost a full year of playing ball.
His options are to stay and work through the issues at byu (like many in the same situation before him who excelled at byu, Jamaal being the most recent) or leave for another program and redshirt. Either way, he's not going to be eligible to play this year.
I wish Francis the best. I'm not sure what his situation is, but I guess it wasn't quite enough to get cleared to play at byu this year. I'm not going to say byu administration or whoever said he couldn't play this year is in the right as I don't know the situation. I've heard some things about him having more than one change and academic eligibility can be a tricky situation. I'd love to see him back with CougarNation next year before he departs for the NFL. Leaving for Utah seems like turning his back on his byu family. He might as well transfer to a better school if he wants to leave.
