Start with the obvious: "Bernard doesn't want to sit out a year so he wants to transfer to Utah (WHERE HE WOULD BE REQUIRED TO SIT OUT A YEAR.)
And this big one. "Bernard has no idea why he is sitting out." Bull. Crap. BYU does everything they possibly can to keep these players active and on the roster. Every school does. You don't just randomly suspend people for grins and giggles. Bernard isn't sitting out a year because some co-ed saw him in the drive through line at Starbucks. Bernard knows exactly what he did. He may not agree with the punishment, but please, please don't play dumb.
This is an entire story sourced from one bitter family member who clearly doesn't know the whole story. That's crap journalism.
Look, I get that he doesn't want to tell his family exactly what happened. That's his personal business. But his brother shouldn't be talking to the press when he doesn't even have half the story. He doesn't have BYU's side of the story and it's pretty obvious that he doesn't have Francis's side either.
I'm amazed that Drew's editor let him print this.
