I'm no expert, but here's my two cents:
Cosy Burnett, Maddie Graham, Sara Hamson, and Kennedy Redding played at middle. Burnett always played with the "ones," while Graham was always with the "twos." Burnett looked the best. She's active, and seems to be the quickest and smoothest of the group. Graham played well, but is the shortest and least explosive. Hamson showed a lot of potential. She is very tall and made some athletic moves. Redding didn't stand out, which may be good for a freshman.
The other two freshmen, Taylen Ballard and Allison Stapleton, played outside. They only played with the twos. Allison didn't play very much, probably the least amount of time on the entire team. Taylen looks talented, but made several mistakes. I'd expect Ballard to be in the two-deep, but not in the rotation. Stapleton is a red-shirt candidate.
Jones-Perry and Miller looked good. The setters were solid, as were the liberos.
