I didn't drive up to Idaho to see it, but it looks awesome. And it shows the power of God and how massive and precise this earth is in relation to other massive bodies of rock and gas.
I wouldn't spend thousands of dollars on it, though. In a way, I think some are overhyping it based on the oft-misunderstood "hasn't happened in 100 years" headline.
My brother lives in the path of totality for the eclipse that will happen in a few years in Texas. Maybe the eclipse could be a good excuse to go visit him.
