That is what I took away from the Doman-McBride story.
Clearly it was in McBride's best interest to take the kid from a BYU family away from BYU and give no thought to depth, style of offense, etc.
But he didn't do that.
Is it really in Bernards's best interest, that is hard to say. We have a lot of examples like Jamaal, Takitaki, Glen Kozlowski who have taken the year off and come back.
We have the case of Heaps who left and we know how that happened.
The point is will KWhitt help Bernard tp take the time and think it all through, or just see his interests and say "Who am I to tell you what to do." And not hesitate to take him in.
