He hasn't behaved in an even remotely honorable manner, especially for an RM. I pretty much despise the HC office but when I found out last December what he did to get suspended for the bowl game my first reaction is that this kid should probably be tossed out of school. I am shocked that he wasn't. It's a tribute to Kalani that he was able to keep Bernard in school and also an indication that maybe things are changing with the HC office. With that said it appears that Bernard is willing to squander his opportunity to attend BYU instead of having the internal fortitude to fix his life and stick with his commitment. Instead he's letting his family run the show and they are making fools out of themselves.

If Bernard was a, "fine young man" he would look to Jamaal and Kyle as examples of how he should address his problems. It appears he's doing the opposite.
