My thinking is it will die a slow death. i.e. each year for the next several, there will be maybe a 5-10% reduction in the number of youth football participants, per year. At some point this will start to effect the quality of HS and a few years later, this will translate into a reduced quality of College Football and a few years later, the same with the NFL.
Or the other scenario is that there will be some huge legal action that makes football no longer financially viable.
To me, either way Pro Football will go the way of the dodo bird. It's not if, but when.
