as the players don't just send the ball into the paint and stand around and watch, which is what happened a lot last year. Wasn't really Mika's fault, it's just the way the dynamics worked out. I fully expect to see much better basketball this season even as I acknowledge having lost our biggest stat producer (by far) from last season. I will miss his rim protection more than anything else.
The ball will move more, the players will move more, players will not be jacking up "selfish" shots knowing the offense is not going to "die" on a pass into the paint every possession. There will be better pick and roll/pop opportunities and better corner three's. All because of two things: we lost our best player and hired Hoyer to replace Nashif.
