Agree on getting tailored suits in Thailand, you'll get a better value for the price, but you'll need to do some homework, get some referrals, and know how much you're willing to pay. If you have a picture of a suit and style you'd love to have....just take it with you and show them! A picture is worth a thousand words for folks.

I really like both locations as well, but would disagree slightly that Singapore can be done in two days, but I guess that varies based on what the person wants to do. For me, must do's in Singapore are:

1) Gardens by the Bay (both in the day as well as for the night lights show)
2) Marina Bay Sands (both in the day as well as for the night lights show). If you have the $$, stay there and try out the infinity pool on the top floor
3) Orchard Road Shopping
4) Eat at the Several Hawker stations
5) Visit Little India and also possibly ChinaTown
6) Sentosa Island (ride the cable car over and choose from among the many things to do on the island)
7) If you have kids, they might love the Night Safari

Lastly, if you golf, taking the one day excursion package trip over to Ria Bintan Resort that's actually in Indonesia is amazing experience. Some holes are just like Pebble Beach...and watch out for monkeys raiding your cart!!
