All the reports saying this is the first time BYU has offered caffeinated drinks since the 1950s are wrong. There was a short time in the late 1990s when the bookstore sold Guarana. I'm guessing some debased RM who served in Brazil was able to coordinate this for a few months before his scheme was discovered.
