learn the BYU offense back in the LaVell Edwards days. That was 2 years of learning the options, reactions, and choices that each player must make to execute the play and be where you are supposed to be depending on what the defense is doing. That was 2 years of learning when the veterans are already executing properly. This may take a year or two more but it will get there and will be beautiful.

Detmer was one of the few exceptions to the "2 years of learning" requirement because he understood the offense very early and was able to run it effectively.
