Try living in the Cache Valley

There are definitely hardcore Aggie fans. But they're a smaller, less athletically successful, geographically isolated school, so unless you live close to their campus, I wouldn't expect you to meet many die-hards. But believe me, they've got their crazies - and even one basketball game at the Spectrum should be able to convince you of that.

But I don't want to be pedantic, and I agree with your point (or at least what I assume to be your point). USU fans generally are more laid back about their teams and less intense than BYU and Utah fans seem to be. For what it is worth, I prefer USU over BYU and Utah, even though I attended BYU - and even then I'm not that passionate about my fandom. I have low expectations for USU football (which they almost always exceed) and I can just enjoy their games without stressing about the outcome. And based on my experiences, that seems to be a pretty typical approach for USU fans.
