alumni and fans. There are great people from any school, but I am constantly struck by the quality of the BYU alumni I have had the privilege of interacting with, both in my life personally and even digitally here on Cougarboard. I have had the pleasure of interacting with so many fine people here on Cougarboard. I appreciate the great commonalities and the nuanced differences between us. I respect CB conservatives and I respect CB liberals and appreciate the civil dialogue that can sometimes (sometimes) be had here. I love that BYU athletics gives us something in common--whether left, right, active LDS, or lapsed Mormon. When I go to games, I rabidly want BYU to win, but if we don't, though it casts a dark cloud over my aura and robs me of happiness and well being, I still enjoy being able to interact with you. This may be overly syrupy, but my favorite part of the BYU experience is being with BYU fans. I believe in the future of BYU and the mission of BYU and it is largely because the talents and good nature of BYU fans like you.
